TRI-CITIES, NY.

Albany, New York's state capitol, Schnectady and Troy make up this area along with numerous smaller communities a little over two hours north of New York City. Thanks to Mark Hart about two dozen WTRY surveys have been posted from 1964 and 65. It's pretty interesting to see what was going on up the river as far as hit records went. "Pocahontas" by the Camelots can be seen as high as number 13 in the fall of 1964. It did get airplay on WMCA back home but couldn't quite crack the top 40. Many other surprises too. And now, thanks to Aaron Mintz a little over two dozen WPTR surveys from 1969 to early 1970 are now up. NOW!!! 15 WPTR surveys from 1957 and 1958 are up! Scroll down below links to see the surveys and photos.
