KFWB July 25, 1967 survey in-house
KFWB ceased printing its survey for the public after the end of 1966, but
continued to type it up for in-house use in 1967. This is another in the
series.
This, unfortunately, is the last one I have. The handwriting was on the
wall for KFWB by summer 1967, as it had been sold and the new owner planned
to change it to all-news. This happened in March 1968. KFWB has been
all-news now since, and continues in this format today, a
phenomenally long success story.
But the ten years that KFWB was Top 40, it was one of the biggest Top 40
stations there was, with an incredible roster of talent. RIP, KFWB, the
music station.
