If you love the music put out on those little 45 R.P.M. records
with the big hole, the radio stations and disc jockeys who played
them, this place is devoted to them. Hit record surveys from stations of the time are on display here. There are over 1400 surveys from Chicago and more than 1,200 Los Angeles ones. Plus more than 900 from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Even some from Albany, NY. To view those scroll down to "Surveys". These sites are growing but many more surveys are needed. If you have surveys see details at bottom of this page and E-mail address down there too. SAVE INTERNET RADIO!!! Updates

because of space limitations. Scanning in actual surveys takes up
far more KB's and that would mean money to pay for more webspace.

part with originals) e-mail me, Bill Danning a/k/a "The Oldiesloon" at Oldiesloon

oldiesloon Apologies...
for the inconvenience. It seems "mailto" links are a magnet for spammers' "bots". If I am away from my computer more than a day this site's box is stuffed to the gills with spam and legit emails can't get in. Old counter crapped out. New counter crapped out. Even newer counter never crapped in.

As it now stands, Sound Exchange, the entity of which royalties for the use of records is paid to, has offered to keep the 2003 internet rates in effect for about the next three years, meaning the net will continue at least for that time to bring you the sounds not heard on broadcast radio.
Great site for Minneapolis and St. Paul radio. Many airchecks.
That's right, the group who gave you "Dancing In The Moonlight" in late 1972/early '73 and "A Little Bit Like Magic" in '73 has finally released their long overdue LP "The Lost Tapes" and has more to come. Check them out at King Harvest. Album available at I-Tunes, Rhapsody, Sony Connect and other on-line stores.
A station by oldies lovers for oldies lovers. A couple of former oldies jocks drop the "former" and put their own station on the air. Legally! And ressurrect the legendary calls.
